Background: Culinary medicine (CM), an emerging discipline, is a novel approach that focuses on the art of food and cooking to prevent or improve health outcomes among chronic patients suffering from lifestyle diseases. The concept originated in USA, gaining interest scholars medicine, nutrition, nursing, gastronomic discipline. Notably, last five years, there has been exponential growth CM literature. In this regard, study sought examine growth, performance distinct research themes literature over time. Methods: To achieve study’s objectives, employs descriptive, bibliometric analysis. descriptive analysis was applied since its emergence. used identify most influential journals, articles, authors domain. bibliographic coupling adopted discover various knowledge base. Results: This identifies three stages development: Early stage, modest stage. Further, results indicate studies had conducted developed countries. Our findings reveal clear integrating curriculum into medical/nutrition education programs recent years.
